The Town of Goderich will revisit the issue of paid parking at the waterfront in the fall.

Mayor John Grace brought up the matter during his remarks at their last Council meeting.

He says the paid parking system that was implemented in June has not been generating the amount of revenue that the Town had hoped for.

Grace initially asked that paid parking be extended past Labour Day until the end of September but that was turned down by Council.

He says he realized that implementing something like this during a pandemic could pose a challenge.
