Chantry Island Cham-Bettes announce over 2 Tons of Food & $3,000 raised for Local Food Banks

Event saw sale of Scarecrow Tour maps sold, participants taking tours and leaving food donations for scarecrows and final donation day event November 1st.

The Chantry Island Cham-Bettes announced today that its recently held Saugeen Shores Scarecrows event had raised over $3,000 and 2 tons of food that is destined for their local food banks.

The theme of the event was “Get Stuffed” and they say they appreciate that they got stuffed with support for the event.

The event saw the sale of Scarecrow Tour maps sold, participants taking the tours and leaving food donations for the scarecrows and the final event was donation day on November 1st at the Southampton Boathouse.
