Saugeen Shores Police have laid charges in an arson and attempted murder case.
On September 26th at 2:15am, Saugeen Shores Police and the Saugeen Fire Department responded to a fire in Southampton which was determined to be suspicious.
During investigation it was determined the cause of the fire was Arson with an adult male being arrested on October 10th.
The Arran-Elderslie resident was charged with Attempted Murder, Arson, Mischief Endangering Life and Uttering Threats.
Further a search warrant was executed which dug up cocaine and other drug trafficking paraphernalia.
A man and woman inside the home were both charged with Trafficking and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.
