Due to staffing shortages the Chesley Hospital emergency department will be closed for the day.
Over the course of the closures ambulance by pass will be undertaken and divert patients to the nearest open emergency department.
This marks the third time the ED has closed due to staffing shortages in the last week where it closed twice last week for the same issue.
The Chesley Emergency Department only runs Monday-Friday on a 7am-5pm schedule.
The ED will reopen on Thursday at 7am.
