Another slew of hospital emergency closures continues across the region.
The South Bruce Grey Health Centre announced the Chesley Hospital’s emergency department will close at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 27 then reopen on Sunday at 7 a.m.
The emergency department will close again on Monday at 5 p.m., then return to regular hours at 7 a.m. on Tuesday.
The Health Centre closed the emergency department at the Durham Hospital overnight yesterday, which reopened this morning at 7 a.m.
The South Bruce Grey Health Centre says the closures are a result of a number of sick leaves which has resulted in a shortage of staff.
