Bluewater Coast Elementary School in Hensall is one of the two schools with the Avon Maitland District School Board searching for a new childcare provider as a program comes to an end.
Just less than a week before students return to school, the child care program at Bluewater Coast run by London Bridge Child Care notified families last week they would be withdrawing before and after school programming as well as a preschool program at Bluewater Coast ending.
AMDSB says they are currently working with Huron County and local municipalities to identify other solutions as the board doesn’t operate licensed childcare and instead partners with providers and use school spaces.
