This is Community Living month and its member agencies are having awareness campaigns to recognize some of their accomplishments.
The Kincardine and District chapter has been serving this community for close to 60 years.
Job development coordinator Aimee Kim says they have helped over 150 different families who have family members with developmental disabilities.
She says it is great to see some of her clients be able to find employment and excel at what they do.
Kim says Community Living Kincardine and District is dedicated to making communities more inclusive.
She says whether it is helping people find jobs or live independently, her organization provides those services for those in the area.
