The Maitland Valley Conservation Authority is now taking orders for tree and shrub planting in 2023.

The deadline for orders is 3 p.m. on Jan. 20, 2023. There are options for do-it-yourself orders or you can also make use of the conservation staff’s planting coordination services.

Grant funding could also be available for your planting through the Huron Clean Water Project, Wellington Rural Water Quality Program, 50 Million Tree Program and more.

Since 1951 the conservation authority has planted over 1.4 million trees throughout the local watershed.
