The Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority has updated its flood watch statement in West Grey.
Conditions at the Durham Upper Dam and Durham Middle Dam have seen improvements over the last few days as a result of the water crating a channel through the ice.
Frazil and slush ice has started to build in the lower channel adjacent to the Durham Community Centre with water levels starting to rise as of Tuesday morning.
This could add to blockage of the Main Saugeen River downstream of the Durham Lower Dam.
The Conservation Authority and Municipality of West Grey staff continue to work together to address public safety.
The Durham Upper Dam walkway and trail between the Upper and Middle Dam remain closed.
