Huron County residents are being reminded its the first week of the controlled deer hunt.
Everyone around the area is asked to exercise caution while out on the roadways as deer will become much more active on the roads as well as an increase of vehicles on the shoulders.
Those out in the woods are also asked to hunt smart and safely.
OPP are also reminding drivers the important rule while on the roads for the season to “never veer for deer.”
