The Listowel-Wingham Hospital Alliance has declared a COVID-19 outbreak at the Wingham & District Hospital.
The outbreak is affecting the inpatient unit at the hospital with visitation being limited to essential visitors only.
There are temporary restrictions to protect patients, visitors and staff.
Only one essential visitor per patient will be allowed with a check in with nursing staff required before entering and PPE being required which will be provided.
The hospital alliance is also urging those who are sick to avoid visiting during the outbreak period.
