Huron Perth Public Health announced this afternoon that a COVID-19 outbreak has been declared on the second floor medicine unit of the Listowel Memorial Hospital.
So far, four patients and no staff have been impacted as part of the outbreak.
No inpatient visits are being permitted on the second floor at this time. Other services like ER visits, ambulatory care, operating room procedures, obstetrics, diagnostic imaging and specialists continue to operate.
The hospital says it is working closely with public health and its regional partners regarding admissions, transfers and repatriations in response to the outbreak.
