A crash between a vehicle and horse drawn buggy has OP reminded drivers to be safe around slow moving vehicles on the road.
On July 14th at 7:48am, Grey Bruce OPP was joined with Grey County Paramedic Services and the Southgate Fire Department responded to the crash.
Police learned a vehicle was traveling on Grey Road 9 and crashed with a horse drawn buggy.
One occupant of the buggy was taken to a Toronto hospital with non life threatening injuries.
A 42 year old of Southgate was charged with careless driving.
Horse drawn vehicles are a common sight across Grey and Bruce County rural roadways and drivers should be prepared to encounter these types of vehicles on their travels.
