The deadline is fast approaching for those looking to enter the Alice Munro short story competition.
People have until March 15th to submit their entry.
Festival Coordinator Jim Seale says this is all part of the Alice Munro Festival taking place in June.
Seale says the writing contest is a great way for budding authors to launch their writing careers.
The contest to open to all amateur writers (no professional authors) and there is an adult author category and a youth author category.
