The deadline is approaching for anyone interested in applying for the Manufacturing Pre-Apprenticeship Multiple Trades Exposure Program in Clinton.

It is a 25-week tuition free program, including 8 weeks of paid work placement in welding, metal fabrication and machining.

The classes are 16 hours per week evening and some weekends on Saturdays.

The practical training includes blueprint reading, trade math, safety training and employment preparation.

The criteria to apply is that you must be unemployed, working part-time or under-employed.

The Application deadline for the Clinton Program is Sunday, June 18th.
