Brockton is looking for the owner of a dog involved in a biting incident in Walkerton on Wednesday.
At around 1:30pm on Durham Street West a person was bitten by a dog said to be a smaller black German Shepherd mix.
The dog was wearing a blue harness and on a leash being walked by a woman in her mid 40’s with red/brown hair and wearing a black jacket.
This notice was not issued by public health as the victim did not seek medical help for the bite.
The municipality is working with Grey Bruce Public Health and will work to confirm the dog is not infectious with the rabies virus.
