The Huron County OPP have charged a driver from Bluewater with drunk driving after a complaint from the public yesterday afternoon.
At around 4:30 pm police received a tip from a concerned citizen who observed a vehicle being driven in Bayfield by a female that they believed had been drinking.
Officers patrolled the area of the complaint and located the suspect vehicle and driver a short time later.
Once stopped the driver displayed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest and taken into custody.
The 66-year-old female was charged with impaired operation, and with blood alcohol concentration 80 plus.
Her license was suspended immediately for 90 days.
She has been released from custody with a January 9th date at a Goderich court.
