Driver sustains Life Threatening Injuries after Collision in Brant Township this Morning

South Bruce OPP is reporting a driver is receiving treatment for life threatening injuries after a single vehicle along Bruce Road 19 in Brant Township.

Officers along with Elmwood Fire and Bruce County EMS responded to find a vehicle had left the roadway and had come to rest in a creek.

The driver was airlifted to a London hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

Bruce County Road 19 was closed at the scene of the collision for the protection of first responders. Motorists are asked to respect the closure and avoid the incident area.

Members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team are assisting the South Bruce OPP with the investigation.

The investigation is in its early stages.
