Drug Charges Laid Following Traffic Stop

Four people are facing drug charges after a traffic stop in Saugeen First Nation.

Grey Bruce OPP were on patrol on Pashwood Drive when a vehicle was seen pulling a trailer without lights at 3:45am on July 27th.

Further it was found the driver was prohibited from being behind the wheel. A search of the vehicle was done with a quantity of drugs being found.

A 26 and 28 year old of Saugeen First Nation, 51 year old of Neyaashiinigmiing and 44 year old of Wellington County were all charged with Possession of a Schedule I Substance with a 44 year old also charged with Driving While Prohibited.

All four will appear in Walkerton court next month.
