Drugs Seized During Traffic Stop

A traffic stop in South Huron has resulted in charges against a London resident.

On August 21st just after 9:30pm, Huron County OPP was patrolling on London Road when they noticed a vehicle not stop at a stop sign on Crediton Road.

During a traffic stop and search of the vehicle police found a quantity of suspected meth, cocaine, oxycodone and crack cocaine.

Other items seized included a digital scale, packaging material and a cell phone and cash.

The 23 year old from London was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, two counts of Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking and other trafficking charges.

The accused will appear in court next month.
