A huge police raid resulting in the seizure of drugs, weapons, and more.
South Bruce OPP along with other OPP units (including West Region Emergency Response Team, Community Street Crime Unit, Investigative and Enforcement Bureau, and Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau) and municipal police forces in Owen Sound and Barrie executed several search warrants at properties in Bruce, Grey, and Simcoe Counties on Thursday.
$81,960 in cocaine, crack cocaine, methamphetamine, fentanyl, and oxycodone were found.
Police also confiscated digital scales, cell phones, drug trafficking paraphernalia, Canadian and foreign currency, three vehicles, and two .22 calibre rifles with an estimated total value of $40,470.
A 60-year-old man from Barrie was arrested and faces a number of charges.
He was held for a court appearance in Owen Sound.
