The Bluewater District School Board is advising its students of an upcoming Dual Credit Opportunity for Grade 11 & 12 students to earn an OSSD credit and college credit by taking an Introduction to Paramedicine Course.
It is set to be held every Wednesday from April 24th to June 16th from 9 am to 3 pm.
It will be held at the Walkerton Fire Department and will see students will receive an overview of emergency services focusing on paramedicine & emergency medical services through instruction and practical simulation in the paramedic lab and college ambulance.
It’s a great chance to be involved in practical exercises involving active-duty police officers, fire fighters, paramedics, and allied health care workers.
