The Durham Hospital will be closing overnight until further notice starting March 10th.
The hospital emergency department will close daily at 5pm and reopen the following morning at 7am with services 7 days a week.
The result for the daily overnight closure is a result of ongoing nursing shortages.
The South Bruce Grey Health Centre has had to deal with a series of overnight closures and reduction of services at emergency departments due to poor staffing.
