The Knights of Columbus saw over $1,000 raised in support of its causes as proceds from an Easters Makers Market held last Saturday at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Goderich.

The event, organized by Cindy Scholten of Edge Wood Décor, saw vendors take part in a variety of specialties such as artists, crafters and small business owners.

Central Huron Mayor Jim Ginn spoke at the event and in his greeting said that often booths like at this event grow into amazing businesses that are really important to the community.

Scholten previously hosted a Farmers Market Christmas Craft Sale last November which raised over $1,000 for the Knights at that time.
