In advance of Emergency Preparedness Week next week Bruce County is reminding residents to have a minimum of 72 hours of supplies in the event of an emergency.
They advise that should one happen it may take emergency workers some time to reach you.
They say to know the risks, make a plan, get an emergency kit and be prepared.
Such things as a floor plan of your home with exits, an evacuation route, check policies & procedures at children’s schools and discuss with neighbours if possible.
