With March coming to a close the OPP is reminding everyone that Fraud Prevention Month is coming to an end.

They say it doesn’t mean the scams will stop.

Victims in cases of fraud often keep quiet due to embarrassment associated with being defrauded.

Only between 5 and 10 pecent of victims step forward.

The OPP says to always report fraud.

The info provided in each case may be the key piece needed to identify these criminals and make the scamming stop.
