More businesses and organizations in Bruce County will be able to improve the look of their places.
The County have introduced the enhanced Spruce the Bruce program.
It was originally developed to help downtown buildings with improved signage and awnings.
Director of Planning and Development Mark Paoli says they hope by expanding it to industries, they will now be able to take advantage of grant opportunities.
The enhanced program was made possible after the Planning and Development Committee approved a budget of $250,000.
Economic Development Officer Tori Matichuk says the new community and industry streams were developed to promote economic goals for industries and regional priorities such as housing and transportation.
County staff will be collaborating with local municipalities to phase and implement the Enhanced Spruce the Bruce Program.
