Residents across the area are being asked to wear purple tomorrow in support of Children’s Aid Societies across the province.

Dress Purple Day aims to raise awareness about the important role that we and the community play in supporting children, youth and families.

If you put on purple make sure to share your photos and video with the hashtags #IDressPurpleBecause and #DressPurpleDay2021.

Bruce County Warden Janice Jackson says this campaign is more important than ever  since the Covid-19 pandemic has created additional stressors for families and in some cases has increased risk for the well-being and safety of children and youth.
