3 local municipality will see the benefits of Farm Credit Canada’s Agri-Spirit Fund which has dished out $1.5 million to 86 communities.
The grants will be used to support different projects and initiatives meant to boost communities and make them more accessible.
Huron East will see $17,000 to purchase and install exterior windows and improve access to the main washroom of the community centre, Central Huron benefits with $13,500 to purchase a dryer for PPE for the fire department and Bluewater will receive $22,500 to help upgrade the community centre’s front entrance and install LED lighting.
