Some residents in Saugeen First Nation may have received expired COVID 19 vaccines.
A report suggests 71 doses of the Pfizer vaccine were administered to residents between August 9th and September 15th.
Representatives from Saugeen First Nation claim that nurses administered the vaccine with an expiry date at the end of October.
But because the vials were not properly store in freezers, it was considered not effective and therefore had already expired.
Officials with Indigenous Services Canada say they are working with public health officials to arrange new doses of the vaccine.
