Huron-Kinloss residents have about a week left to pay their final tax levy of the year.
The taxes are due on Dec. 1, and the township wants to remind residents that failure to receive a bill does not relieve you from the responsibility for payment or the potential of penalty charges for late payment.
Taxes not paid by the due date are subject to interest charges of 1.25% per month.
Payments can be made online, at your financial institution or at the Township’s office in Ripley.
Any ratepayer who has not received a tax notice is advised to contact the Township of Huron-Kinloss Municipal Office at (519) 395-3735 as soon as possible.
