Remembrance Day is being marked with ceremonies across the region this morning.
In Kincardine, there will be a service at 10 a.m. in the Legion Hall, followed by a service at the cenotaph at 11 a.m.
Saugeen Shores will have services in both communities, with Southampton forming a parade at the legion at 10:30 and travelling to the cenotaph for 11.
In Port Elgin, the Legion will be holding a service at Cenotaph Park, which is also available to stream online.
The Goderich ceremony will also be streamed online as they gather in courthouse park at 10:45 a.m.
There will be road closures in Lucknow, Ripley and Paisley for this morning’s services, as Campbell St., Queen St. and Bruce Road 3 will be closed respectively, starting around 10 a.m.
Hanover’s ceremony will begin at 10:45 a.m. with a parade from the legion to the cenotaph.
Wingham’s ceremony also gets underway at the cenotaph at 10:45 p.m.
And in Walkerton, they’re hosting a parade and ceremony at the local cenotaph prior to 11 a.m.
