South Bruce Peninsula Fire Department are still looking into the cause of Friday’s fire at the Legion in Hepworth.

Fire crews from Wiarton, Tara, and Inter Township Fire were brought in to battle the blaze around 4 A-M.

Fire Chief Tim Wilson says the fire caused somewhere between $2 Million and $2.5 Million in damages.

He says everything inside the building, which also housed the Grey Bruce Music Hall of Fame, was lost.

Wilson says the bone-chilling temperatures and snowy conditions made it difficult for firefighters to put out the fire.

He says one firefighter had to be treated in hospital for frostbite.

Wilson says they have concluded that the fire is not suspicious in nature.
