A section of Highway 21 has since reopened after a fire destroyed a home in Goderich.
Fire crews were called at 6:45am on Wednesday to a home on Victoria Street with heavy fire seen in the roof of the building.
The house was vacant at the time as it was under renovation and there was no injuries but the home has been destroyed.
The fire is not considered suspicious with a damage cause still not known at this time.
