It will be a night of food, fun, and mental health awareness.

Rosewood Rvilla Retirement Residence are having A Night of Mental Health at Fig Studio Kitchen in Ripley a week from this Thursday night.

Organizer Cathy Pennington says they will have a guest speaker, former Canadian women’s soccer player Helen Stoumbos (in photo above), to talk about her personal success.

She says money raised will go to Mental Health Matters Wingham and the Tanner Steffler Foundation.

Pennington says they will be selling coffee, donuts, hamburgers, and hot dogs at the town-wide yard sale in Ripley this Saturday, and are also raffling off a signed, framed jersey of Toronto Maple Leafs superstar Auston Matthews.

Tickets for the event can be purchased by going to Eventbrite. (https://annualnightformentalhealth.eventbrite.ca)
