The Town of Saugeen Shores is welcoming back a familiar face.
Jill Roote returns to be the Town’s Manager of Strategic Services as of December 13th.
She comes from the County of Bruce where she was most recently Manager of Economic Development.
Before that, Roote was with the Town in a variety of roles including managing the Business Enterprise Centre and physician recruitment.
In a news release, Roote will be tasked to develop a culture of planning and operational excellence and renovations, and will oversee a wide range of projects driven by the Council/Staff work plan and other priority areas for the organization.
CAO Kara Van Myall says Roote is familiar with the organization in building partnerships with all levels of government and ensure the Town is headed in the right direction.
