On Saturday Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound MPP Rick Byers met with the team at the Georgian Bay School of the Arts in Owen Sound to hear more about the recent $98,900 Resilient Communities Fund grant.

The School used the funds to upgrade the tools & equipment that had been donated & purchased second hand in their pottery, printmaking, jewelry, glass and textile studio.

It was awarded late last year, and the project will be completed at the end of August.

It will give creative people in the community improved art & craft equipment for learning new skills for years to come.
