The work will soon continue for the next phases of the Goderich Downtown Dig.
There is a rough estimate start in April for phase 3 which will be West Street to North Street then shortly after move to phase 4 being North Street to East Street.
Mayor Trevor Bazinet says coming off the first two phases, it overly went pretty well with not much interruption for planning in the downtown.
“We want to get going here, phase 1 and 2 went quite well. The contractor did a wonderful job keeping the site clean and we were able to have most of our festivals on the square for the most part.” said Bazinet.
There will be an open house to discuss the next phases and steps for the downtown dig taking place on March 25th from 2-4pm and again from 6-8pm taking place at the Goderich Town Hall.
