The Town of Goderich Fire Department recently took delivery of its new Tanker Truck #16.
The new apparatus will allow them to shuttle more water with greater efficiency to their own scenes along with those they do in aid of other departments.
Training will commence in the coming weeks so they can have the new truck in service ready to go.
The truck is a 2023 Freightliner M2-12, with a Darley 500 gallon per minute pump and a 3,000-gallon capacity.
The budgeted amount for the purchase was $425,000.
