The Goderich-Huron YMCA shared word that it is taking part in Giving Tuesday on Tuesday, November 29th.
They say with the resident’s help they are going to raise funds to support subsidized access to the YMCA’s programs and services for community members with financial barriers.
The London Community Foundation has announced it will match donations that day dollar for dollar for the first $3,000.
Giving Tuesday is a Global Day of Generosity to celebrate our humanity.
The day was started as an antidote to the commercialism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
