A Goderich resident is facing sexual assault charges after an investigation by Perth County OPP this week.
On Jan. 17, just after 11 p.m. police began an investigation into allegations of an assault and sexual assault. Police say the victim sustained minor injuries as a result of the assault.
As a result of their investigation OPP charged a 33-year-old with sexual assault with a weapon and spousal assault.
The accused was released from custody and will appear in Stratford court at a later date.
