The Town of Goderich has announced that out of respect for and to pay tribute to its late Mayor Myles Murdock Goderich Town Hall will be closed today with all town operation resuming tomorrow.
The Funeral Service for Mayor Murdock is this morning from 11 am to noon at Goderich District Collegiate Institute in the West Gym.

A Celebration of Life will then be held at the Goderich Legion from noon to 4 pm.
Murdock was a devoted teacher for 28 years and a basketball coach to many Goderich youth for 45 years.
He followed his father & sisters’ footsteps into politics.
