A GoFundMe has been setup as well as donations being accepted directly to support a Saugeen Shores Police Auxiliary Officer.
Catherine Thomas was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and funds are being raised to support her and her family.
Saugeen Shores Police say Thomas started in the summer last year and has been a wonderful addition to the team helping with community events and assisted in the arrest of a subject who attempted to stab an officer with a screwdriver.
Donations are being accepted on GoFundMe but those who wish to bypass it can also send etransfers to catherine.breton.mineau@gmail.com.
