Good Samaritans Help Rescue Person Who Drove Into Meaford Harbour

Instructors with a sailing school are getting praised for their efforts to help someone who accidentally drove into the Meaford harbour.

On Monday Grey County Paramedics responded to a call for service after the incident occurred.

Four instructors from the sailing school as well as another bystander acted quickly diving into the water and using hammers to break the window of the vehicle and pull the driver to safety.

Kyle Gilas, Nathan Brand, Griffin Dauphinee, Ilian Malibertsma and Becca Vail have all been praised for their quick thinking which saved the victims life.
