The Bring Tom to Town campaign is complete, following a successful Gran Fondo Lake Huron yesterday.
The Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation says $400,770 in donations was raised, pushing them well over their $3 million goal needed to purchase a new CT scanner for the community. That included a $100,000 donation from Bruce Power.
Executive director Tracy Murray says with their latest campaign wrapped up, the hospital foundation can turn their focus to this year’s capital list.
The foundation thanks all the cyclists, sponsors and volunteers who helped make the Gran Fondo a success.
