The Grey Bruce Children’s Water Festival kicked off yesterday in Chesley.
The event runs until Thursday and offers Grade 4 students in the area a chance to give the kids an appreciation for the water they use and the environment in which they live in.
There are fun water-related learning activities including Dripial Pursuit, Marsh Monsters and how to use a fire hose.
Students from Huron Heights in Kincardine took in the festivities yesterday.
The day was assisted by members of the Paisley & District Fire Department Station 80 for showing how to use a fire hose.
