The Grey Bruce Public Health Unit shared the news that this week from June 4th to 11th is Water Safety Week.

It is an annual campaign across Canada run to educate us on how to stay safe around water and prevent drowning incidents.

The week presents the opportunity to learn more information on such things as lifejackets and pfd’s, the importance of supervision when swimming, checking in on water & weather conditions before entering the water, safe boating & fishing and more.
