The Grey Bruce OPP have charged a 40-year-old of Chatsworth following an intimate partner violence investigation in the area.
Police responded to the report of a disturbance Monday at 12:15 pm in Chatsworth Township.
As a result police have charged the accused with two counts of assault.
They are set to appear at a court in Owen Sound at a later date to answer to the charges.
Police remind victims of domestic violence that they are not alone.
