The Grey Bruce OPP have charged a 45-year-old male following an intimate partner violence investigation in Chatsworth.
Last Saturday, around 5:05pm officers responded to a report of a disturbance.
Through investigation, they determined several criminal offences had taken place.
As a result the male has been charged with assault with a weapon, spousal assault, dangerous operation and failure to stop after an accident.
The accused was held pending a bail hearing at a court in Owen Sound. Police remind that victims of domestic violence are not alone.
