The Grey Bruce OPP will be promoting and enforcing laws around safety equipment for the annual Canada Day campaign that runs through July 3rd.
During that time they will be focusing on safety equipment on our roadways, trails and waterways by utilizing seatbelts, helmets and personal floatation devices.
It will also focus on unsafe driving behaviours such as speeding, aggressive driving, inattentive or distracted driving, and impaired driving.
Every year, each of these elements is linked to a significant number of deaths or serious injuries on OPP-patrolled roads, waterways and trails.
